Visual Barrier

This solution is aim at deal with the visual privacy on the lower level.

We want to design few multifunctional barriers, which not only used for block the view, also can used as e.g. storage space.

Option 1 Glass brick wall/ Frosted translucent glass

Glass brick wall is a solution which need to be installed when doing the interior decoration. Glass brick wall required high technology skills so it will cost a little bit more than other 2 ways.

Option 2 Hollow Structure Frame

Advantages:

--Prevent visual from public space

--Block the visual but keep the sunlight

--good-looking appearance

--Glass brick will provide different light refraction

Material choices:

1. Glass+Emulsion

Challenge:

--Expensive

--Immutability

--Can 't have other way to use, just a wall

This hollow frame consider residents' requirement of more storage space, so design a structure like this is good for both blocking view and storage. Also this structure is flexible, which can be changed based on your preferencece.

Advantages:

-- Can used as different size storage space

--Residents can choose their preference

--Easy to install

Challenge:

--Can't block all views from public

--Easy to accumulate dust

--Some grids are not very practical

Cost:

Option 3 Screen

A movable screen is a very normal way to deal with this situation, but the one above is special, which have many holes on it. We can hang on clocks, bags or green plants 头decorate our room.

Advantages:

--Prevent visual from public space

--Block the visual but keep the sunlight

--Easy to install

--Lower price

--Can move to different angle based on the sunlight condition

Challenge:

--Not easy to store

-It could tilt on impact
